Our commitment

Essentially Events serves multi-generational celebrations. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA for public marketing pages and guest-facing experiences.

Measures we take

Our design system includes:

  • Minimum 48px touch targets and 16px form text to support mobile and older guests.
  • Colour contrast targets aligned with WCAG AA.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and visible focus states.
  • Error messages that use text and icons, not colour alone.

Guest invitation experience

Guests access events through a single link without downloading an app. Where assistive technology is incompatible with a feature, we will work to provide an equivalent alternative on request.
